I have recently developed an interest for magic, mentalism and psychological trickery - thanks to Derren Brown who first blew my mind on TV a few years ago.Last Friday I saw the master himself live in Edinburgh (yes, it was my main reason for the trip, but I also got to see a beautiful city and briefly visit my friend Paul in Django Films to see what magic they were up to).
Anyway; Derren Brown was absolutely fantastic as expected. And having a bit of interest in the field myself and knowing some of the principles and techniques from reading about it online and in books, I wasn't even close to having a f***ing clue about how he did most of what he did on that stage. If he wasn't scary before, he definately is turning quite scary now.
So in other words; it was an incredible show - and count me in on his next tour.
